Traction
Spinal decompression helps relieve pressure off the disc and nerves, that could cause problems such as radiating/numbness in the arms or legs. Traction involves a specific amount of force being applied in an exact direction over a certain amount of time. Decompression has been shown to improve disc height and hydration.
Focused Shockwave Therapy
Focused extracorporeal shockwave therapy (fESWT) uses high energy acoustic waves concentrated to a specific point to stimulate the body’s natural healing and regeneration response in tendons, ligaments, muscles, and bones. Studies have shown success rates as high as 85% with significant improvements in musculoskeletal conditions, with long-term benefits lasting several months to years following just a couple of treatments.
